Half marathon

We made it down to the cottage for a Devon weekend and ran the Tavistock half marathon. It was a beautiful sunny day and the course was stunning. It took us up onto the moors, which made it hard work on the legs, but we were rewarded by an amazing view. Really well organised and marshalled – I’d recommend it.
Poor Matt couldn’t make it because he’s ruptured his Achilles tendon (playing football – ouch). Which means he can’t cycle the Dartmoor classic… this year….So he stayed back at the cottage drinking coffee, eating bacon sandwiches and playing banjo by the stream, so he didn’t lose out too much….
